A Message From The Legion
On behalf of the Executive and members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #56, let us welcome you to another year of best Midget Hockey anywhere. We have been affiliated with the Swift Current Legionnaires for nearly 60 years and have always been proud sponsors of this team. We are looking forward to an exciting year of hockey and extend of sincere wishes for a successful year to the management and the players.
As sponsors we are extremely excited about the 2004-2005 season. Over the years we have watched this team strive to become of the best franchises in our province, and we are very proud of their accomplishments and the fact that they bear our name.

It is from the support of our community that we can generate the funds that enable us to continue our sponsorship of the Legionnaires Hockey Club. Thank you Swift Current.
The Royal Canadian Legion is a non profit organization whose services are geared to the welfare of our community and veterans. Our annual Poppy campaign allows us to give Bursaries totaling $4000.00 every year and we have to date donated over $20,000 to the Dr. Noble Irwin Foundation. Our Wednesday night bingo’s enabled us to contribute to many children’s organizations such as Summer Park programs, Cadets and to the Legionnaires. As an organization we extend an invitation to you, to come down and visit us. We offer activities for all ages, dances, cribbage, pool tables and shuffleboard. Get involved with your Legion, and become part of a winning Team.
