SWIFT CURRENT LEGIONNAIRES EDUCATION PLAN
As part of the Swift Current Legionnaires, every player is encouraged to attend and do well in school. Players will be attending Swift Current Comprehensive High School where they will obtain a great education. The Swift Current Legionniares will ensure that all school credits are transferable to the home high school of each player.
Our education goal for our players is to have them graduate on schedule with their peers at their home high school. The school grades of all players will be monitored closely by the team's coaching staff and the school conselors. If necessary, player's will receive assistance (e.g. tutors) to ensure they reach their full academic potential.
The Swift Current Legionnaires provides the top hockey talent with the opportunity to develop their skills on the ice at the highest possible level without compromising their academic goals. While the Swift Current Legionnaires encourae that its players have success on the ice, we firmly believe it is equality important for the player to set his sights on acamdemic success as well.
