The Legionnaires have always been involved in their community! Community Involvement opportunities are coordinated by contacting the team, who will volunteer with community organizations, schools and service clubs to create successful community events.
Participating in a variety of events, the legionnaires are visible and involved in their community, raising the profile of the team. The Community Involvement events coordinated last season reached many of the people in our community, generated excellent media coverage, and made the Legionnaires ‘heroes’ to hundreds of kids.Volunteer based events were held at Community Fall Festival, Wheel Chair Hockey, Food drive for Salvation Army.
In addition to these events many players volunteer their time with local minor hockey teams in supporting practices and giving back to the younger players and the community they play hockey in.
